Undewater Inspections have several porpouses as:
- To determine the type of fouling on a ship.
- To inspect a part of the ship or to monitorize or quantify a damage.
- To generally inspect a ship.
Other type of inspection are made by Seasub, on piers, mooring buoy systems with pipelines where the vessel unloads oil and gas far from a costal pier.
Modern underwater non-destructive measurent devices are used by Seasub to determine the thickness of pipelines or hull plates without removing the paint, making the job faster and without damaging the anti-corrosive coatings.
